_SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION
_
The Material Analyst/Planner will assist the materials management group in supporting all aspects of material planning for various internal customers utilizing inventory reporting, forecasting and computer operating programs.
_DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS_

Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives
Create reporting on a monthly, quarterly, yearly and as needed basis for a variety of internal customers
Forecast critical material needs in conjunction with Purchasing, Operations and Construction
Perform a variety of materials management tasks to assist Storekeepers and Manager of Materials Logistics
Interact with numerous internal groups to resolve challenging delivery requirements
Assist Storekeepers to optimize warehouse organization and material stocking levels
Travel may be required to other Northwestern Energy warehouses
_GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
_
Must be able to demonstrate a good safety record
Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
Knowledge of inventory procedures, warehouse safety, knowledge of electric and gas materials
Computer skills are essential, SAP operating system
Possess record-keeping, filing and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills are essential
Excellent internal and external customer skills are essential
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50lbs
