_SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION
_
The MWM Dispatcher works in a Contact Center environment, responding to a variety of customer inquiries. The MWM Dispatcher calls will be subject to call monitoring with a priority goal of achieving customer satisfaction. The MWM Dispatcher must work effectively within a team environment and other work groups to accomplish organizational goals. The MWM Dispatcher must demonstrate strong adherence to accuracy, safe work practices/processes, customer service, and attendance.
_DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS_

Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives.
Assure cost effective use of resources by communicating/coordinating with Outage Management Dispatchers to include assessing and scheduling technician's workload for short cycle gas and electric service work.
Create emergency and non-emergency service orders
Dispatch service personnel
Performs professional front-line customer interactions; assure customer satisfaction by managing duties as assigned.
Duties include closure of service orders.
Demonstrate proficiency with the computer software and web applications necessary to conduct daily workflow dispatching processes
Perform required shift work to include weekends, nights, holidays and call outs
Assure positive working relationships with technicians, OMS Dispatchers and field management.
Job time is spent in an office environment mostly sitting or standing, using a computer terminal and phones with limited required walking. Occasional lifting of lightweight office materials up to 20 pounds.
_GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
_
Must be able to demonstrate a good safety record
Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent, advanced education is preferred
Ability to perform basic math functions
Ability to operate computers and related equipment
Excellent communication skills are required
Good organizational and technical skills are necessary
Successful completion of requisite testing and training program is required
Ability to plan and prioritize dispatching responsibilities
High volume dispatching and/or InService experience preferred
