2023-11-15 A Community-Focused Medical Center in Western Montana is looking for a High Caliber Nurse Manager to serve and develop their Labor and Delivery Unit. Offering a full-range of Acute Care Services, the facility is looking to hire a Nurse Manager to lead a growing Labor and Delivery Unit. The Nurse Manager will join a team that strives to provide the highest quality care to patients in the community and surrounding areas. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery will serve as a Mentor to the staff of RNs, LPNs and Techs and maintain a great working relationship with the OB-GYN physicians and Midwives. This Nurse Manager will work closely with other unit leaders to ensure comprehensive, full service care. Overseeing the entire department from prenatal to postpartum care, the Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery will be able to develop the department using their experience in Obstetrics Management. This Family-Center Department is trained in STABLE (stabilization and transporting of newborns) and NRP (neonatal resuscitation program) with the support of full-service OB-Gyns. The Nurse Manager is responsible for communication with the staff and physicians to keep everyone up-to-date on happenings within the Department. They will need to be a quick thinker and be able to tackle any problems that may arise. The Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery will need to be able to maintain all operational aspects of the Department.
